A JOE reader has sent us in the story of his Friday night in Dublin, when he had planned to take his wife to see Mrs. Brown's Boys in the 3arena as part of her birthday present.
Derek had the perfect night planned for Cynthia. He was going to leave work early, head home to sort out the kids and get them ready for bed before the babysitter arrived, bring herself into town for a bite to eat and a drink and then onwards towards the venue for a night in the company of Brendan O'Carroll et al.
Well, it didn't quite go to plan.
