Although there seems to be an emoji for virtually everything these days, the agricultural community had only a few generic animals and some machinery with which to depict everyday farming life.
Until now.
On Tuesday, the Irish Farmers Journal launched Farmoji, a new app which they say “brings farming to life”.
Farmoji contains detailed stickers that convey pretty much everything that farmers love about agriculture, from humorous images to practical farming tools to word bubbles with a number of phrases such as ‘Hit the Diff’ and ‘It’s too Cold to Snow’.
All in all, the app features over 100 agri-themed stickers that can be shared across all social media channels, including on iMessage, WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter; images can be shared via a dedicated Farmoji keyboard or via the app on Android.
The app is free to download and many of the stickers are free to use; others can be accessed by an in-app purchase of €1.99.
