A 20-year old bus got a a new lease of life after it was purchased by eight recent graduates and was completely redesigned as an RV.
Back in 2014, four classmates got the idea into their heads to convert a school bus and bought a 1995 Carpenter school bus, 40 feet long with a diesel engine.
The group grew to eight with a few Irish people, Michéal O’Laighin from Cork (a builder), Rory from Wexford (an electrician) and Amy from Dublin (a blogger) thrown in for luck.
All of the group were studying at Notre Dame University and were from Texas, New York, Wisconsin, Maryland and Virginia.
The lads renovated the bus and toured around America, passing through Mount Rushmore, Beaver Creek, Maroon Lake, Denver, Yellowstone, Seattle, San Fransico and Yosemite.
Now their adventure has ended and the renovated RV is up for sale. It sounded like one hell of a trip.
