A 21-year-old in America managed to survive getting a chainsaw lodged in his neck
A tree-trimmer from Pittsburgh in the United States had a miraculous escape after an accident in work saw a chainsaw (that’s right, a chainsaw) get lodged in his neck.
According to AP, doctors at Allegheny General Hospital, where he underwent surgery on Tuesday, stated that he managed to miss all his major arteries (not by much) and hit only muscle. In case you don’t believe us, here’s an x-ray of the blade from the chainsaw still lodged inside him.

His co-workers were a key part of the rescue, getting him down from the tree he was in safely and doing their best to stop the bleeding, as well as making sure he made it to the hospital. He’s one lucky, lucky man.
