On this week’s Engine Room Show, motoring journo Dave Humphreys tells us all about his recent trip to Russia to drive the all new Mazda3. We hope he kept his dash-cam handy…
The show kicks off with a bit of a strange intro and if you close your eyes and listen carefully to Dave Moore speaking Russian, you might just think you’ve been locked up in a damp KGB basement while handcuffed to a cold radiator… Thankfully, we manage to escape the grasp of the KGB as Dave lets us in on what exactly went down over in the Old Kremlin.
Dave was tasked with driving across Russia in the all-new Mazda3 (read more about the car here) and the trip sounds pretty epic, and slightly eerie, to be honest. The Russian countryside is so vast that when Dave and the rest of the Mazda convoy stopped all they could hear was silence… Sounds pretty mad.
