Pornhub and Valentine’s Day go hand in, eh… hand.
“Being single on Valentine’s Day can actually be pretty fun, not to mention cost effective.” That’s how Pornhub started off their Valentine’s Insights over on their Safe For Work (ish) insights page.
Surprisingly, the term ‘Valentine’s Day’ managed to break into the top five most searched for terms on February 14.
Unsurprisingly, there was a 45% spike in the BDSM category, which we can safely assume was thanks to the release of 50 Shades of Grey.
According to the cracked team of statisticians over at Pornhub: “Pornhub viewers treat themselves to some pretty spicy content on Valentines Day, as made evident by categories like Creampie, Striptease and Fisting all seeing around 15% more views.
“The 19% increase in views in the Funny category indicate that some were perhaps in need of some comic relief alongside the other kind of relief traditionally offered by Pornhub.”
