Notions, that’s all this is. Notions.
Italian fashion powerhouse, Prada, is known for specialising in handbags, shoes, perfumes and other fashion accessories and apparently, they have now added paper clips to that long list.
Another thing they are known for is their expensive merchandise and what’s good for the latest leather handbag trend is also good for the mighty money clip.
On the Barney’s Network website, they have a paper clip invented for holding all your dollar bills at the insane price of $185 which comes in at just over €165 for those of us across the water.
Why is it so expensive? We’re not quite sure. It has the Prada name tag engraved on one side and the clip, which is made in Italy, is polished sterling silver.
You wouldn’t have much money to put in it once you buy but sure, it would look the part and would give off the sense that you were wealthy when really, you’ve spent your week’s wage on a tiny piece of steel.
Twitter, much like ourselves, could not get their head around the price of this thing and took to social media to vent their frustration, confusion and anger over the money clip.
Sad thing is, anyone who does decide to buy this, will more than likely use it a couple of times for the novelty and then throw it in a drawer, never to be seen or used again.
It's a Prada money clip, it's not just a paperclip https://t.co/ckmBUNfh64
