As the iconic Ari Gold in Entourage, Jeremy Piven’s style has caught the eye, but he’s no stranger to looking stylish when he’s not on set either.

Jeremy Piven is a hugely accomplished actor, with parts in movies from Smokin Aces to classic comedy Old School, but it was his role as the sharp-suit-wearing loud-mouth agent in Entourage, Ari Gold, that really got him noticed.

However, it’s not just on screen that his dapper style has been catching the eye, he’s been putting together some pretty slick outfits off screen too.

One of Piven’s go to looks is a slick blazer and shirt, which can be worn with jeans or slacks, depending on how formal the occasion is, and it’s pretty much always a hit.

He sticks to a pretty definite colour pallet when he’s putting together a look, which consists of plenty of grey and blue, colours that suit him. The blues can range from navy to sky blue whether he’s just wearing shirts or putting together a whole suit. Navy can be more difficult to match to other parts of the outfit, but he manages to nail it here with a tan belt.

Piven also concentrates on layering, given that he has very broad shoulders and a stocky build, which can help to give his outfits a greater sense of proportion. He can often be seen wearing shirts with cardigans over the top, or even a waistcoat also.

These looks can be made either formal or informal, since you can match either a plain shirt with a waistcoat and blazer for a slightly more formal occasion or a checked shirt and cardigan for a casual evening. You could even mix it up as Piven has done here, and it will still add an extra deminsion to your outfit, especially if the same checked shirt has been your Saturday night shirt for the past few weeks.

He’s also not afraid to accessorize by wearing hats, glasses and other small bits and pieces such as that can really add fine detail no matter the occasion. Seen here in a flat cap and glasses, this look can draw attention to the accessories that you’re wearing without taking over the whole outfit. You’ll pretty much figure out straight away whether or not an accessory suits you, and they won’t all work for everyone, but don’t be afraid to ask a member of staff in the shop for help, they’ll give you a hand.

However, you can also throw in just a simple splash, like a pocket square, to break up a very plain grey suit and instantly make it look much smarter.

We’re pretty huge fans so we’re looking forward to the Entourage movie to see what looks Piven will be sporting as Ari Gold again, but you can always keep an eye on him for some great tips on how to wear slick suit well.
