A reindeer in the US may have got his days a little mixed up as he made a mad dash from a Colorado shopping mall.
According to Reuters, the reindeer broke free on Thursday while the man in red was asking children what they wanted for Christmas. While the youngsters were explaining what was on their wish lists, the reindeer jumped over its enclosure, leading police officers on a healthy jog through town.
The reindeer was quickly located at a nearby reservoir, though the Summit County sheriff’s office had to bring in another reindeer to lure the runaway and get it back into a trailer.
Unconfirmed reports are suggesting the reindeer’s name was Dasher.
