REVEALED: The top 10 things Irish couples argue about the most

Joe Harrington

Have you and your other half had a row about any of these?

It’s Valentine’s Day so love is in the air with couples everywhere declaring their undying devotion to each other.

Meanwhile, single people…

Valentine’s Day is also a day where people reflect on their relationships and see where they might be able to improve on or work on.

Silly arguments might be a good place to start and that’s where this survey by Jury’s Inn might come in handy.

They’ve found out the ten things Irish couples argue about the most and, to be honest, we can relate to too many of them.

  1. Finances and Bills
  2. Partners not pulling their weight around the house
  3. Taking each other for granted
  4. Relatives and in-laws
  5. Spending too much money
  6. Constant nagging
  7. How to raise/discipline the children
  8. Drinking too much
  9. Snoring
  10. What to watch on TV

The research also shows that Irish couples have an average of six arguments per month, while almost 18% row ten times or more each month. Yikes.
