The sunny south-east? The horny south-east more like it.
Ireland is and always has been a country of romantics, but tradtionally we’ve been a bit more reserved when it comes to speaking about what we like to get up to behind closed doors in the boudoir.
In an effort to determine the horniest or ‘most amorous’ counties in Ireland, however, dating website EliteSingles.ie, pardon the pun, didn’t beat about the bush.
In an effort to determine which county has the strongest libido, they looked at anonymous data from over 30,000 users from various counties in response to the statement ‘I have a strong desire for sex’.
It seems that the east of the country is far hornier than the west, with Waterford, Wicklow, Dublin and Kildare, in that order, filling the top four spots, with only Leitrim and Galway flying the flag for the west in the top ten.
We can’t say we’re surprised by the result, after all, how could somebody not be turned on when a man like this is never too far away?
