The Dublin Pride Parade is set for scorching conditions.

It’s Dublin Pride week and of course, the showpiece highlight event of the week is the Dublin Pride Parade in the city centre on Saturday. It has become one of the biggest LGBTQ+ parades in Europe, with over 30,000 participating in last year’s event.

Always an extravagant explosion of colour and fun, it’s not often it takes place in such sweltering conditions as it will this Saturday. Last year it featured over 60 floats, so expect an even bigger number this year.

Dublin Pride Parade

The great thing about the Dublin parade is that it’s an all-inclusive event. The Dublin LGBTQ+ community wants you to take part as much as watch it. They want it to be a people parade so go and have some fun and get involved this Saturday.

The route will follow the 2017 parade route and start in Stephen’s Green South heading towards Kevin Street. It will head south towards the river, crossing Fr. Matthew Bridge and going up Church Street before turning into Smithfield.

Dublin Pride Parade

It’s the second biggest parade event in the country behind only the St Patrick’s Festival, so lash on the factor, go wild and have some fun this Saturday afternoon.
