Did you see it?
With the CAO first-round offers being made this afternoon, the Nine O’Clock News decided to examine the teaching sector in Ireland. The segment focused on the reasons why religious ideology can still be an important factor for any applicants to the teaching course in DCU.
The main narrative of the investigative report was focused on the apparent discrepancy in points between the Protestant and Catholic applicants.
While the topic itself encouraged plenty of tweets, there were other ‘interesting’ factors at play also. With the Rose of Tralee enjoying an ad break, people were more eagle-eyed and attentive than usual.
