Last year, the folks at SeaWorld announced that they would stop breeding killer whales in captivity in their parks.
However, at the time, one of their killer whales - the 25 year old Takara - was pregnant, and a killer whale's pregnancy usually lasts 18 months.
So this week saw the birth of the last ever killer whale born in captivity in SeaWorld.
It has yet to be announced the gender of the newborn calf, but both mother and child are said to be healthy in the San Antonio, Texas park.
