‘Tis the season.

A lot of things immediately come to mind when St. Paddy’s Day is brought up.

And let’s be honest, for better or for worse, the main thing is probably alcohol.

But whatever your drink of choice is, we bet that this new “Shamrock Infused Gin” being released by Aldi will surely go down a hit this March.

According to Aldi: “Tower Gin’s Shamrock Infused Gin has been distilled in the traditional London Dry style, with all ingredients – including the fresh shamrock, coming from the highways and byways of Co. Louth.

“The sweet orange and rosehips make for a refreshing gin, yet it also has a mild earthy taste which comes from the fresh shamrock. And yes, it’s actually green! The perfect gin to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.”

The drink will be available in 137 Aldi stores nationwide from Thursday, 28th February while stocks last.

A bottle of the gin will cost you €20, a small price to pay for such a festive drink.

Between this and the return of the Shamrock Shake in McDonald’s, we won’t know what to be doing with ourselves this Paddy’s Day.
