PIC: This sheep shearer’s sunburn is the definition of having a farmer’s tan

Well, it will be a tan when the redness fades.

JOE

We doubt he’ll be shearing tomorrow.

When will people learn? Just because there is a little yellow dot in the sky does not mean you can go around without sunscreen on. You will get burnt, no, you will get scalded.

We have seen a Galway man’s face get cremated in the California sun and as for Neil McEnaney, he got an almighty doing on his holiday to Thailand covering his body from his eyebrows to his bare arse.

However, there has been a new contender thrown into the ring for most sunburnt man in Ireland and he goes by the name of Donnacha Devaney.

Poor old Donnacha was out shearing a few sheep for the fine day that was in it when he got an almighty going over on his arms, upper back and neck.

It is unknown whether Donnacha was wearing a tank top or just a normal vest but the sun managed to execute a quintessential Irish farmers tan on his skin.

Donnacha’s friend, Ruairi Sheridan got in touch with JOE with the caption “When sheep shearers think they’re tougher than the sun.”

If Donnacha thought he was going to get any sympathy from his friend he was extremely mistaken but the man himself told JOE that he was a bit sore but would be grand after a while.

Cheers to Donnacha Devaney for sending this our way. Got a story for JOE? Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102 or mail [email protected].
