One in Dublin, and one in Tipperary.

Two Irish EuroMillions players woke up half a million Euro richer this morning after it was revealed that two tickets sold in Ireland had matched the Euromillions Plus draw numbers.

While they missed out on the overall jackpot, they are still jammy enough to have claimed the €500k prize. The lucky digits are 4, 8 10, 17 and 28.

According to The National Lottery, the tickets were sold as quick picks in the Ticketron Store in the Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght and in the XL Prior Park Service Station in the Ormand Centre, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Brian Connolly, the owner of the XL Prior Park Service Station said: “This is the second EuroMillions Plus €500,000 win in two weeks in Clonmel so we are becoming a really lucky Lottery town. We’ve been spreading the word to our locals since early doors this morning and myself and all the staff at XL wish the winner the very best of luck, whoever she or he is!”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the National Lottery urged players in Dublin and Tipperary to check their tickets:

“Ireland really is getting its rub of the green with EuroMillions Plus with two more top prize winners of €500,000. Long may this lucky roll continue as we now have our 12th and 13th winners of 2018. If you are one of those two lucky ticketholders, be sure to sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team on 01 836 4444 and we will make arrangements for you to come to the National Lottery Winner’s Room to get your prize.”
