Sligo, you’re only lovely.
Sligo Tourism has launched a new campaign showcasing the many activities available in the north-west of the country over the coming months.
The message they’re trying to portray is that there’s plenty of things to do and see in Sligo, and on the evidence of their new promotional video, it’s difficult to disagree.
The activities include horse trekkers on Trawalua Beach, surfers riding pumping waves at Strandhill as well as mountain bikers, trail runners, beach yoga and kayaking at Lough Gill.

It’s part of a year-long campaign to promote Sligo as a tourist destination, so get ready to see a lot more of Sligo over the coming months.
