Get some aloe vera on that burn…
Smirnoff has mocked Donald Trump and his alleged ties to Russian in their latest campaign, and it’s going down very well with the public.
The brand have new posters which run with the line: “Made in America, but we’d be happy to speak about our ties to Russia under oath.”
The ad is a nod to the ongoing investigation of Russian interference with the 2016 US election and the question of whether or not Donald Trump was involved.
The ad was spotted by Robbie Gramer, a reporter at Foreign Policy over the weekend, and he uploaded this snap…

Smirnoff, now owned by British spirits giant Diageo, can trace its roots back to 18th Century Russia and pictured in the ad is a Moscow Mule cocktail, a drink which Smirnoff claims to have created back in the 1940s.
Smirnoff has been made in America for more than eight decades,” a spokesperson for Diageo said in a statement to CNN. “The recent interest in American-made products created the perfect opportunity to reinforce that fact and the brand’s roots in Russia — with a wink and nod to current affairs.”
