Make sure to check your tickets…

The National Lottery is today encouraging its players in Dublin to check their tickets to see if they have won this tidy sum. This winner fell just one number short of scooping the €2,794,197 Lotto jackpot.

The Dublin player is waking up €294,363 better off today after matchig five numbers and the bonus on last night’s Lotto draw (Saturday 23th October). The lucky ticket  was bought in the Bookstation store in the Stillorgan Shopping Centre.

Tom Nolan, General Manager of the Bookstation shop, where this golden ticket was bought said: “We’re delighted with the news that the Lotto ticket was sold in our store. While we do get a bit of passing trade at the shopping centre, our customer base is mostly local people from Stillorgan and the catchment area. Hopefully it is one of our regular customers and best of luck to the winner!”

The winning numbers were 5, 7, 8, 22, 27, 31 and the bonus was 2. So if those are your numbers… don’t forget to thank us.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “This is great news for a lucky player in Dublin to wake up to this morning! We are asking all our players who bought Lotto tickets in the Stillorgan area to check their numbers. If you are this lucky person be sure to sign the back of the ticket and call the National Lottery claims team on 01 836 4444 and we will arrange for you to collect your prize.”
