There is no denying that the late, great Alan Rickman did an unimpeachable job portraying Eamon De Valera in the 1996 movie Michael Collins.

However, it's fair to say that in real life, Rickman didn't actually look anything like the former Taoiseach and President of Ireland. This weekend, though, one eagle-eyed Twitter user has clocked another celebrity with an uncanny likeness to Dev — though it's not one we could ever see being last in the role of the long fella. YouTuber Seán Connolly shared a side-by-side of De Valera and Superbad star Michael Cera, an actor primarily known for playing terminally awkward characters and the resemblance is clear, as evidence by the many retweets and faves. https://twitter.com/TheSonicScrew/status/835584060831510532 While we're probably not going to see "Dev And Norah's Infinite Playlist" anytime soon, we do admit that we'd love to know what would happen if Michael Cera ever got cast as one of Ireland's most important politicians.
