They’re running out of time.

It’s about time to be getting onto anyone you know who even visited Galway in September and telling them to check their Lotto tickets.

The National Lottery has today reminded Lotto players in Galway city to give their old tickets a once over as a Lotto Plus 2 top prize of €250,000 from Saturday 1 September still remains unclaimed.

Ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize. The claim deadline of close of business on Friday 30 November is now exactly two weeks away.

To make things even more straightforward, we even know where the winning ticket was bought: the winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at the busy Eason store on Shop Street in the heart of Galway city on Friday 31 August.

The winning Lotto Plus 2 numbers for the draw on Saturday 1 September were:

03, 14, 24, 26, 30, 33 and the Bonus: 01

So if those sound like your numbers, go find your ticket and get in touch with the National Lottery. And once you have your winnings, send us a fair cut for reminding you about it.
