Irish cultural icons come in all shapes and sizes but the spice bag has earned its place in the popular imagination. No one knows for sure where this culinary delicacy originated but that only adds to its mythic status.
KFC have now paid tribute to this iconic meal with the KFC Spice Box. This is big. Really big.
They’ve included a new Colonel’s curry sauce to provide some much needed spiciness and you get a serious meal for just €6. It includes fries, popcorn chicken, onions rings, wings, a mini fillet and the new sauce so they’ve maintained the spice bag’s legendary bang for your buck.
Obviously, the only way to react to this news was to test it out and see how it measured up to the original. So that’s what we did.
