From unbelievable bike tricks on an €18,000 road bike, to the world’s first triple backflip, here’s a sampling of the best bike stunts ever recorded on camera.
Ireland’s biggest ever endurance event series, Endurance Challenge 2068km, will take place throughout the country in August 2014, but before you get on your bike for the epic challenge that lies ahead, make sure to check out these epic bike stunts… just don’t go trying them out at home (not yet, anyway).
First up, Martyn Ashton, Chris Akrigg and Danny MacAskill take an €18,000 Colnago C59 Italia for a spot of off-road cycling… Did we mention the bike costs €18,000?! Yes, we know we did, but we still can’t believe it either.
Ethen Godfrey-Roberts; adrenaline junkie, extreme mountain biker and stuntman for Nitro Circus, pulled off this incredible world first as he perfectly executed what people have calling “the greatest bike trick ever.”
New Zealander Jed Milton pulled off a crazy, super-awesome BMX triple backflip that was, yet again, another world first… Actually, super-awesome is a bit of an understatement.
