A make or break choice…

Before you get to that magical wedding moment of completely owning the dance floor with your fancy Marks & Spencer tie wrapped around your head, all while imitating Ricky Gervais’ iconic dance from The Office, the happy couple first need to strut their stuff.

It’s a difficult choice picking the first dance for your wedding…

The song has to mean something special to the married couple, you have to actually be able to dance along with it, and you certainly don’t want to pick a piece of music that’s going to have the people around the side of the dance floor pointing and laughing at you, while small children cry and run for the safety of their parents’ arms.

To help you with the dastardly dance decision, here’s Spotify’s official Top 10 songs chosen for the first dance at weddings.

Because, y’know, you obviously want to pick the same songs as everyone else and definitely don’t want to pick something different.

Don’t even get us started on the fact that there’s no Celine Dion ‘Think Twice’.

10. Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat – ‘Lucky’

9. Michael Buble – ‘Everything’

8. Adele – ‘Make You Feel My Love’

7. Bright Eyes – ‘First Day Of My Life’

6. Ray LaMontagne – ‘You Are The Best Thing’

5. Ed Sheeran – ‘Tenerife Sea’
