PICS: This stag party in Monaghan went for a pub crawl on a tractor

Tipping away on their tractor.

JOE

Only in Ireland.

We’re a bit biased here at JOE but when it comes to stag parties, Ireland really does it best. Recently, a group on a stag in Louth decided to have a Paddy “Pintman” Losty theme with t-shirts to match and we think we have found a pub crawl that would be right up the great man’s street.

Fairly standard enough, Paul Deery’s stag party in Monaghan decided they wanted to go on a pub crawl for the day that was in it but instead of getting a bus to ferry them around, they went for the more Irish option.

Paul’s friend decided to take a red Massey Ferguson out of the shed and the little beauty had a trailer hitched on behind it to carry the twenty strong crew along the road

The pictures were taken by the good people at Mac’s Bar in Ballytrain but the pictures were brought to our attention by Siobhan Duffy. She explained the whole tractor-themed stag to JOE.

“There was a stag do in County Monaghan where they did a pub crawl of all the local country pubs in this tractor and trailer drove by Squigs McGuigan,” she revealed.

“There were 20 on the stag and they started off in Coleman’s in Laragh, they then tipped up to Murray’s in Lough Eigish and then headed to the local shooting range,” she explained.

The stag wasn’t finished there though.

“After that, they went to the Mucky Duck in Ballytrain to play tug of war and have a few pints, then headed back to Coleman’s for the night, and that was their transport the whole time! There was about a distance of 10 minutes between each place they went to.”

Cheers to Siobhan Duffy for sending this our way. Got a story for JOE? Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, or mail [email protected].
