When you think of McDonald's as a global franchise, you might assume that the menu in every restaurant is exactly the same.
However, whilst travelling around Hong Kong last week (that's right, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China), I got word from some locals that there were a number of different items available in every McDonald's situated there.
What!? No Eurosaver menu!?
I took it upon myself to investigate on behalf of The JOE Show and see how these unfamiliar items fared against the more traditional menu available here at home.
I tried out four different options, which included a Hokkaido Beef and Salmon burger, a Sweetcorn and Mushroom soup, a Coca-Cola McFloat and a GBC burger.
It's not your typical menu, but it definitely might be worth adding some of these items to the McDonald's menu here in Ireland.
Check it out, mmmmmm...
