Snakes on a plane wasn’t just a God awful film, it was a reminder that reptiles can make their way onto a plane. Which is why an Australian aircraft had to be grounded in Sydney.
A Qantas Boeing 747 airliner was the home of an eight-inch unidentified snake which led to 370 passengers put up overnight in hotels before taking the flight to Tokyo today.
No explanation has been offered how the snake made its way onto the aircraft and while snakes rarely pose aviation hazards, it’s not the most reassuring news for passengers.
And here is a quick reminder of Samuel L. Jackson’s famous line from that ‘epic’ film.
