JOE’s readers have been having their say on the marriage equality referendum.
Maximum Media recently surveyed thousands of Irish people across JOE.ie, Her.ie, SportsJOE.ie and HerFamily.ie about their lives, loves, work, home and politics.
In the next few weeks, we’re going to bring you some of the findings from the 6,000 JOE readers who took part in the survey.

The same-sex marriage referendum takes place on May 22 and the general feeling is that Irish people will vote ‘Yes’.
We surveyed our readers to get a more tangible figure on exactly how the vote is going to go.
We asked Irish people if they’re going to vote ‘Yes,’ ‘No,’ ‘Don’t know,’ or ‘Won’t vote.’ Here’s the response.
