Survey reveals Ireland's top five favourite biscuits
Do you agree?
Every night, an eternal argument takes place in Irish households and it revolves around two very important questions. 1) Who's making the tea and 2) what biscuits are you going to have?
Hands up if you've ever been involved in long debates, silences and stare-offs with your friends/family about the very important topic of tea?
It causes war.
A survey by office suppliers, Viking, has revealed that 66% of Irish workers believe that we're still a nation of tea lovers compared to 34% who believe that coffee has become more popular.
What's even more interesting though are five favourite biscuits that the 500 people surveyed chose as their go-to treat.
It's National Biscuit Day on the 29th May and these five brands are Ireland's most popular selections.
1. Digestive with chocolate
Yum.
2. Ginger nuts
A required taste but we can understand it.
3. Hobnobs with chocolate
Now we're talking.
4. Rich teas
Why? Seriously why? They taste like cardboard. Name and shame anyone that likes Rich tea biscuits.
5. Custard creams
Beauts.
