On Monday,a number of swastikas were painted onto a van outside a Jewish girl’s school in London. Also spray-painted were the words “Fuck off”.
The incident took place on Alkam Road near the Beis Malka Jewish Girls School. The incident is still being investigated by Hackney police.
When the story of the news broke online, the first response on Twitter came from a page called “Hackney Muslims”.

The offer of support hasn’t gone unnoticed, with Twitter user ‘Mike K’ screenshotting the tweet, and putting it up and with the comment “That’s the London I know.”

This tweet now has over 3000 retweets, which is just further evidence of the support being offered by the public.
