Why do men buy sex?
Many of us will have a stereotypical image of the type of person that will spend money to buy sex.
Often you’ll have heard a story – “he was on a stag and…”, “ah, it was a bet and he didn’t want to be the only one …”, “so the lads were in the strip club and the next thing…”.
The truth is that because there is currently very little research done on attitudes towards prostitution in Ireland, any insights as to why it happens are usually just speculation and often wrong.
That’s just not fair. For either sex.
This presents a massive opportunity because we think that the men and women of the JOE community has the insight and answers.
We’ve designed an online survey to investigate what Irish people really think about about prostitution and sex trafficking in Ireland.
