The pop star was having the craic in the city.
Pop star Taylor Swift’s presence in Belfast over the past few days has garnered a lot of attention and now a number of photos have appeared online of the singer posing with her adoring fans there.
It has been reported Swift was in the city with her boyfriend, actor Joe Alwyn, as he was wrapping up filming on the adaptation of Sally Rooney’s acclaimed novel Conversations with Friends.
In a statement and image posted to social media, Belfast bar The Tipsy Bird wrote: “The one and only Taylor Swift graced us with her presence last Friday night,
“We can confirm she is just as lovely as you would expect and was kind enough to take a picture with our team.
“Taylor, if you fancy being a Tipsy Bird another night in the future, you know where to find us!”
While at The Tipsy Bird, Swift also met singer Tiernán Heffron who was performing at the bar.
Posting selfies of him and Swift together, Heffron called the singer “lovely” and said she stayed for his three-hour set.
“It’s not everyday Taylor Swift walks into your gig and stays for your whole three hour set. She was the most lovely person! She asked how she could follow what I was doing and gave me a tip,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Belfast restaurant Shu also confirmed it had hosted the singer recently and that she posed for pictures with its staff.
“On Thursday evening we had the pleasure of serving Taylor Swift! Taylor was so lovely and really is a beautiful person inside and out and she kindly agreed to photos with all of our team,” it wrote.
