Horror fans rejoice!

Tayto Park has announced that they have opened two new attractions at their theme park and zoo in Ashbourne in County Meath.

The first is primarily aimed towards the younger spooksters, as the Ghost Hunters day-time event is aimed for kids (and kids at heart) aged 6 and over. You’ll head into an abandoned manor armed with nothing more than a torch and your wits, as a friendly ghost guide gives you a tour around different rooms. It is up to you to solve the clues to get into the next room, and find out the mystery behind the manor.

By night, that is when things take a turn for the scarier. Morbid Manor is for 14 year olds and older, and guests will pass through the haunted home, meeting all the inhabitants, living and dead. Tayto Park themselves describe it as a “high impact, intense scare experience”, and that has got us horror fans very excited.

On top of that, guests can catch a night ride on some of Tayto Park’s already famous attractions, including The Cú Chulainn Coaster, Air Racer, Rotator, Windstar and Endeavour, and top it all off with the terrifying 5D horror movie, Fun House Express.

The Ghost Hunters attraction will run from October 21 to November 5, while the Morbid Manor has limited run, from October 20 to 30, so we imagine the tickets for that will sell out pretty sharp-ish.
