Tayto Park has announced that it will officially reopen on 29 June, at the beginning of Phase 3.
Earlier this month, the Meath amusement park suffered a false dawn when it announced that it would return on 18 June, only to quickly change tack and confirm that it would have to wait a while longer.
In a statement issued today, Tayto Park confirmed that it would be open for pre-booked visits as part of its phased reopening, and that it would be operating at a limited capacity. The park has said that it is not mandatory to wear a face covering, and that some food outlets within the park will be open.

However, the park has specified that a number of attractions will remain closed in order to comply with HSE guidelines and ensure social distancing is adhered to. The rides and attractions that will be closed include:
