You can’t help but feel a little bit satisfied knowing that somewhere Piers Morgan has been in some way frustrated.
Today, it comes in the form of an accolade for his social media sparring partner Gary Lineker. The Match of the Day host was found to be the best speller on Twitter out of 50 popular British celebrities, having made a grand total of zero spelling mistakes in his last 50 tweets.
Morgan didn’t cover himself in the same glory, the perpetrator of two mistakes. His record is also worse than the almost spotless timelines of Wayne Rooney, Russell Brand and Harry Styles.
Comedian Keith Lemon was the worst offender, with 48 mistakes (we think most of them are made on purpose) and Tulisa Contostavlos also struggled, making 23 errors.
We imagine Gary will be lording this one over Piers for some time to come.
