A power outage has caused the problem.
Luas released this statement earlier this morning.
“The Luas Green Line is not in operation this morning due to a power failure. Luas Tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the disruption. There is no tram service from St Stephen’s Green to Brides Glen.”
Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus, there is also an alternative Bus service ( Finnegans ) between Brides Glen and Sandyford due to limited Dublin Bus routes in this area.
Luas maintenance are working to rectify the power problem. Please accept our sincere apologies.”
