Remember the other day when we brought news that Lar Corbett’s bar in Thurles, County Tipperary, were selling pints for €1 on Black Friday (which is today, incidentally)?
Let’s refresh your memory.
Well, it turns out we were wrong. The pints on offer don’t cost 99c, but are advertised at .99c – which is just under a single cent.
Maths was never our strong point at school, but thankfully Gavan Reilly from Today FM was paying attention to his decimal points.
