There is a lot of public passion towards Steven Avery's case.

Manitowoc Police have been busier than usual on their Twitter account of late, following the release of the mesmeric and shocking Netflix documentary, Making A Murderer. They've principally sought to clarify some of the key events since the fallout of the documentary, including this recent tweet, posted on January 2.

Just a notice for all the people complaining. The Manitowoc Police Dept is separate from the Sheriffs Dept.
