The top 50 hotels in Ireland have been revealed

We’re known for our hospitality in Ireland and although staying in a hotel can be pricey, the experience is a pleasant one for the most part.

Hotel search site trivago.ie have today announced the inaugural trivago.ie Top Hotel Awards for 2015, using aggregated online user ratings to recognise the top hotels in Ireland.

The best-rated hotels in Ireland have been ranked on a regional and national basis and Kerry absolutely dominates the national list, with six of the top 20 hotels nationwide (click on image to enlarge).

Top spot, however, goes to Harvey’s Point in Donegal Town, which commanded a very impressive rating of 96.44 based on reviews from Trivago users.

Hotels in Antrim, Carlow, Galway, Sligo, Limerick, Mayo, Dublin and Derry also featured in the top 20.
