Beeftro Restaurant and their secret French sauce

Ooh la la…

To celebrate its first birthday at Dundrum Town Centre in Dublin, Parisian-style steakhouse, Beeftro, has exclusively introduced the very tasty Relais de Paris butter sauce to its menu. And believe JOE when we say, it really is delicious.

Beeftro

Having eaten in many fine eateries all across the country (Granny JOE’s house, Aunty JOE’s house and, obviously, JOE’s own house), we can honestly say that it was one of the tastiest meals that we’ve ever had in a restaurant (that would let us in), from the super starters right through to the delicious dessert. Via the magnificent main course of course.

The secret sauce, created in 1959, is a skillful combination of 18 spices and 5 secret ingredients and it’s the perfect accompaniment to the prime cuts of matured Irish beef on offer. If steak isn’t your thing though 1) what’s wrong with you? And 2) don’t worry, as Beeftro also offers a wide selection of burgers, fish, chicken, salads and sides. Check out the full menu here.

For more information, you can head over to the Beeftro website by clicking here and make sure you follow the restaurant on Twitter here. What’s that? You want to take JOE as your date to the restaurant next weekend? We’d be honoured, thanks.

You can make our reservation by contacting Beeftro at: [email protected] or calling them on 00353 1-2988874. Right, we’re off to find something nice to wear…

boojum Mexican Burrito Bar

Since opening the doors of its first Irish restaurant in 2007, boojum Mexican Burrito Bar has gone from strength to strength, and customers who crave the culinary delights of a Californian-style casual burrito bar can now be served a delicious delicacy the “size of a baby’s arm” in any one of boojum’s four restaurants situated in Belfast, Galway and Dublin.

boojum

In fact, boojum have just opened a brand new restaurant on Kevin Street Lower in Dublin and, if you’re the type of on-the-move person who demands fresh, healthy alternatives to the fast-food chains that dominate the high-street, then this is the perfect spot for you.

Great food, fresh, easy and how you want it. And actually, how we want it too. Next time you’re heading, make sure you bring JOE along too, yeah? Yeah.

SriRacha Hot Chili Sauce

And finally, if restaurants and burrito bars aren’t your thing and you fancy cooking at home instead, then we’ve got just the sauce for you, SriRacha hot chili sauce designed by Thai Food Company Ltd.

SriRacha sauce, which gets its name from Sri Racha, a beautiful district on the coast in the province of Chonburi, Thailand, is a real Thai classic, blending chillies, garlic, salt and sugar to make a really smooth-tasting hot sauce that can be used in loads of different ways. Dip in it, cover wings with it or put it in your Bloody Mary, the versatile sauce will liven up any foodstuff with its hotness and wonderful flavour.

hot sauce

Dipping sauces are a critical part of Thai cuisine, providing additional flavour, contrast and hotness to their associated dishes. JOE’s recommendation is to forget about dipping your burnt toast in it or pouring it all over your Coco Pops and instead try it with a traditional Thai home-made omelette, the Khai Jeow.

And you know the drill by now, right? You’re cooking one for JOE too. Thanks.
