There are 1,600 jobs available in paradise so don’t delay

Paul Moore

Fancy spending your lunch break on the beach?

Career changes are inevitable and while you may love your current job and colleagues, there’s no denying that heading into the office on a Monday morning can be more depressing than a blind date with Twink.

If you fancy working in paradise then you’ll be pleased to know that the nice people of Hawaii, one of the most scenic paradises on the planet, are looking for 1,600 people to fill education and teaching jobs as the state’s population ages and teachers retire.

The great news is that the job criterion isn’t confined to people that have extensive experience in the classroom – all you need is a BA and some experience working with children. If you’ve ever even helped out in a summer camp, this could be for you.

Their Department of Education is looking to fill vacancies in special education, secondary mathematics, and secondary science among others.

And the pay? The average teacher’s salary in Hawaii is €47k. That’s enough cash to keep you lying on the beach with a few drinks in your hand.

If you fancy working in paradise then take a look here.
