Dogs are much loved in Ireland, but one place they are not so welcome in this country are in pubs and cafes.
That could be about to change if the strength of one national online petition makes the desired impact.
There has been a petition posted on change.org which wishes to make dog-friendly pubs and cafes legal in Ireland.
So far, it has proved to be a massive hit, with nearly 2,500 online signatures, and very much counting, at present.
