There are six people in Ireland whose 2016 has started in style following last night's €1 million Christmas Millionaire Raffle jackpot.

Four people in Sligo, Carlow, Dublin and Cavan won €100,000 each, one person in Wicklow won a cool €250,000 and one person scooped the big one.

A person who bought a ticket in the Amber Service Station, Bansha Road in Tipperary Town is now a millionaire after winning the €1 million jackpot.
