Weather

It’s not quite a heatwave, but we’ll take it.

Met Éireann is forecasting a decent enough spell of weather for the coming week, starting tomorrow (27 May). While there will be showers in the late morning, the main takeaway is: “There’ll be sunny spells and temperatures will reach 14 to 17 degrees, once again the higher temperatures in the southeast of the country.”

Tuesday will see most areas stay fully dry with some good sunny spells and highs of 15 degrees.

There will be some showers on Wednesday too, among highs of 13 to 16 degrees Celsius. However, the temperatures really start to shoot up towards the end of the week, with 13 to 19 degrees Celsius expected on Thursday. It will be mildest, driest and brightest across southeast Munster and south Leinster.

It’s expected to be even warmer on Friday, with Met Éireann predicting: “Feeling very mild or even warm with highs of 16 to 21 degrees Celsius, with best values for Leinster.”
