Visited any of these?
Despite the strong appeal of life in your hometown, there’s a lot more to the world than just these 32 counties. The YouthfulCities Global Index have studied 55 major cities in order to determine which city is the best place for people aged between 15-29 to live in.
The selection criterion included; the level of people in the city of a similar age, education, employment, nightlife, culture, wage and others.
If you happen to live in Sydney, or you’ve friends currently there, then good news because life ‘down under’ comes out on top in this study.
In the interest of fairness, no Irish city was used in this research so the results are clearly flawed. I mean, who wants to live in New York, Montreal or Paris when you can live in Longford, Fermanagh, Cavan or any of the other 29 counties?
Here’s the top 10 cities that Irish students might fancy visiting.
So Detroit and LA are both on this list.
