Northern Lights

Have you always wanted to see the Northern Lights?

You’ll find it on a lot of people’s bucket lists, and no wonder: Aurora Borealis is one of the most incredible things a human being can witness during their time on earth.

But if you’ve got a bit of spare cash and fancy treating yourself to a bit of luxury, why not check in to a luxury glass igloo to watch the lights?

In Lapland, Levin Iglut Golden Crown offers 24 luxury glass igloos for hire, in which you can lay back and look up as the Northern Lights dance and dazzle across the night sky.

The igloos come in two levels: Premium and Superior. They both have motorised beds that you can adjust to get the best viewing angle, but the Premium igloos offer an unrestricted view of the valley, promising an incredible night’s stargazing.

Neither are cheap, we’ll be honest. You’re looking at paying at least $390 (£295) per night for a Superior and $472 (£357) for a Premium. But if the Northern Lights fulfil their promise and light up the night sky, it’d surely be worth every penny spent.

I mean, just look at this…
