With a superhero’s name, we are struggling to believe that this guy could do such wrong, but Batman bin Suparman is set to spend the next 33 months in jail.
According to Australian media, the 23 year-old had been arrested in August after security videos showed him sneaking into a store at night on two separate occasions in Singapore (the same Bat-man, the same Bat store?) where he stole a total of $SG500 (€300), court documents showed.
On top of this, he also pleaded guilty to stealing his brother’s ATM card and also consuming heroin. Holy Toledo Batman, the list of offences really stacked up.
A Facebook fan page specially created in light of the thief’s wonderful name has received nearly 11,000 likes with plenty of parodies, video and pictures to keep people entertained and needless to say there has been quite a reaction online.
