This Garda dancing at a Fleadh in Louth is our new favourite thing

Gardaí dancing

Great scenes.

At present, Drogheda is the place to be for anyone that loves traditional music because the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil 2018 is well underway.

Throughout the month of August, thee has been a litany of concerts, céilithe, sessions, singing programme and performances taking place with some exceptional musicians, singers and dancers performing.

As you can see here, there are plenty events for anyone that wants to experience an integral part of Irish culture and it’s clear that the feel good vibe has spread onto the streets.

Paul Mohan is a photographer/cameraman that’s working at the Fleadh and he was on hand to capture these great scenes that developed on West Street as a member of An Garda Síochána couldn’t help but get swept up the Carolan Brothers’ version of Cecilia.

As you can see below, this footloose and fancy-free Gardaí was more than happy to let his dancing partner wear his hat before giving her a huge embrace.

Great scenes. Of course, this isn’t the first time that a member of the Gardaí has been impressive with their dance moves.

Take a look.
