To Russia with Love: Volunteers Wanted for a Life Changing Trip

Rich culture combined with wonderful charity work

JOE

A great trip for a fantastic cause.

Improving the lives of abandoned and orphaned children while experiencing the beauty and wonder of Russian culture sounds brilliant to us.

How about you?

If this sounds right up your street, we’ve some great news.

Irish charity  ‘To Russia With Love’ has just announced details of a very special trip this March and they want you to come along with them.

Thumbsup-alec

‘To Russia with Love’ is a wonderful charity doing life changing work with thousands of orphaned and abandoned children across the Russia.

They have rebuilt buildings, established education programs and put the smile back on thousands of children’s faces.

The trip

Their trip takes place on March 13.

Volunteers will depart from Dublin and spend the first night in a Moscow hotel.

On day two there will be a special St Patrick’s Day parade and celebration in Moscow which will be witnessed and enjoyed by children from the orphanage.

This will be a huge thrill for the children as Ireland holds a special place in their hearts. That night, a St Patrick’s Day Ball will take place in the hotel.

On day three a train journey to the Western region of Bryansk to the Hortolova orphanage will see the group spend time with the children and experience first-hand the important work the charity is doing.

TRWL has been working in the desolate region of Byransk for 17 years trying to improve the living conditions of the children there. Although there has been a lot done, there is still a huge need for the charity and their work in the area.

Departing Bryansk on a midnight train journey back to Moscow on day four, the group will arrive back at sunrise into historic Red Square where so much of Russian history has unfolded.

You will depart for Dublin arriving back just in time to partake in St Patricks Day festivities in Ireland on March 17.

Getting there

The unique charity trip costs €2,500.00 PP and includes return flights, visas, accommodation, food and a donation to support the work of ‘To Russia With Love’.

It is suggested that volunteers pay half for the trip themselves and fundraise the remaining amount.

Spaces are limited and early booking is advised due to popularity.
